Training Schedule For Music Pedagogy
JaSeSoi’s courses are based on Guidelines for Music and Movement Education, extended studies in Orff-Schulwerk Finland.
Main element in the course is to support the pedagogical growth of every participant. The training offers practical and extensive ideas on music and movement teaching, based on the Orff-Schulwerk pedagogy, and promotes the versatile development of one’s pedagogical and musical skills.
Participating And Completing The Course
You can participate in the course starting from ”Orff one”. Progression in the program is based on the spiral principle, meaning that different areas are covered several times through various processes. One’s own experience is the starting point, followed by more in-depth applications. You can start from ”Orff one” even though you are an experienced Orff pedagogue. JaSeSoi’s plan is to make an adapted structure for the studies for the international participants. The group will partly study with the Finnish students (translated into English) and partly as their own group (sessions in English).

ACCOMMODATION & PRICES
Conference Hotel and Hostel Linnasmäki accommodates participants during the course.
The prices include tuition, materials, breakfast, lunch and dinner on course days, and accommodation in a double hostel room.
Additional charge for a single room is 150€.
The hostel room has WiFi, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels, but you have to make the bed yourself.
There are communal kitchens on every floor.
Full-time students 570 € (only tuition 300 €)
Members of JaSeSoi 620 € (only tuition 350 €)
Non-members 670 € (only tuition 400 €)
REGISTRATION
The course fee is paid during the course either in cash or by credit card.
The registration is open until 4 of May 2026.
Registration can be canceled free of charge until 4 of May 2026. After that, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the start of the course will be charged 20% of the course fee. We charge the full participation fee for registrations that are later canceled or not canceled at all. By presenting a sick leave certificate, we can waive the participation fee.

PRINCIPLES OF SAFER SPACE
In JaSeSoi’s trainings and meetings, the principles of safer space are observed.
The aim is to ensure that everyone feels safe participating in the activities of JaSeSoi.
Everyone taking part in JaSeSoi’s activities is expected to commit to following the principles of safer space.
The principles of safer space in JaSeSoi:
Respect
Respect the personal physical and mental space and autonomy of others. Remember to ask for space for yourself as well.
Listening and learning
Approach new people and topics with an open mind, seeing them as opportunities to learn and grow.
Apologizing
If you have hurt or offended someone, apologize.
